The mighty Megadeth took to social media yesterday to announce a massive 2020 tour of North America with Lamb of God and special guests Trivium and In Flames. Dave and the boys will kick off the 56 date tour on June 12 in Bristow, VA and will finish it off on November 13 in Reno, NV. Canadian dates will include Toronto on June 29, Quebec City on October 28 and Laval on October 29.
Bandaid Brigade, a current favourite played often of Scotty Gee Radio, has recently released their first full-length album on January 21. The album, titled I’m Separate, features 11 catchy as hell songs that really don’t fit into or conform to any discernible genre.
Listen to Break The Grid by Bandaid Brigade, played many times on Scotty Gee Radio.
Scotty Gee will be playing another track from the album on Scotty Gee Radio on Saturday night between 8-11 p.m. so tune in and hear yet another killer track from this exciting new band.
You can listen to Bandaid Brigade’s new album I’m Separate on Spotify.
Dave Mustaine continues to make his triumphant return from a battle with throat cancer, and we’re all glad about that. Mega Dave and the rest of Megadeth continued their European tour with a stop in Paris on Tuesday evening.
Dave Mustaine at the Electric Ballroom, London in 2012
During that Paris concert, Dave Mustaine’s daughter, Electra joined the band onstage to accompany her father in singing A Tout le Monde from Megadeth’s 1994 album, Youthanasia.
This being 2020, there was of course footage of this occasion that appeared on Youtube. You can view the footage below.
Good to see Dave and his daughter taking advantage of his good health after a very scary situation and spending some quality time together.
Here are the tour dates for Megadeth’s 2020 European tour with Five Finger Death Punch and Bad Wolves.

Welcome back, Scotty Gee Radio fans to the show notes for the final Scotty Gee Radio show of 2019. I had originally planned to go for three hours tonight but that kind of went out the window and resulted in a FOUR-hour show! We had another game of stitch-up for which I will post the clue and the answer later, AND we made the draw for December’s Scotty Gee Radio merch contest. The main point of the show is that we played some killer music and had a hell of a time doing it.
The Stitch-Up clue for tonight was The Old Punks Deliver Honey Tonight. That phrase was made up of words from six different songs. The answer is below. Now, on to the playlist for Saturday’s show. Remember, you can listen to the Scotty Gee Radio playlist on Spotify any time you want.

Another early morning, another Scotty Gee Radio show on Live 365. Firstly, I would like to thank Binnie Gee for becoming a patron. Every dollar raised helps keep the radio show going. It costs money to buy the music and to pay for the Live 365 monthly fee to put on the radio show, so thank you again, Binnie Gee and Michelle, who are the two current patrons of The Scotty Gee Show and Scotty Gee Radio.
We had another game which has no name, where I take three band names, make a clue out of them, and listeners have to tell me which three bands or artists I am referring to so that they (the listeners, not the bands) can be entered into a draw to win Scotty Gee Radio Merch. Here are the three clues.
These guys are no amateurs
People in Kabul sometimes wear toupees
They’ve been taken advantage of.
